Valentino Favotto is an eclectic composer, sound designer, pianist, keyboardist, musical directors and arranger. He started to play classical music when he was 6 years old and since then he has developed his own musical language in a multi-sided modern way as a musician. Valentino Favotto graduated “summa cum laude” at the “C.Pollini” Conservatory of music in Padua and at “G.Tartini” Conservatory of music in Trieste in classical music and jazz music and he has continued his education with Franco Scala, Filippo Gamba, Homero Francesh in regards to classical music, and Glauco Venier, Stefano Battaglia, John Taylor, Kenny Wheeler, Stefano Bollani and others concerning jazz music. At the same time he started to play in several bands encompassing a lot of different musical styles (classical, medieval, klezmer at first and then jazz, soul, gospel, rock, pop, funk, fusion, etc...) and became more and more interested in the world of keyboards, particularly in genuine vintage keyboards / synthesizers and the most modern keyboards as well. He has performed with a lot of renowned Italian artists like Riccardo Fogli, Albano Carrisi, Ricchi e Poveri, Dodi Battaglia, Giovanna, Paolo Simoni, Summertime Gospel Choir, Vittorio Matteucci, Giò di Tonno, Andrea Braido, etc...playing in several different great arenas and stadiums like Olympic Stadium in Rome, Olimpijskij Stadium in Moscow, San Siro Stadium in Milan, Aula Nervi in The Vatican, Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, etc... and in a lot of theatres and different venues all over the world, particularly in Russia, U.S., Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Romania, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Italy obviously, recording also for the respected national radio – TV. Since 2011 he has played continuously with the famous Italian singer Riccardo Fogli with whom he has performed a lot of tours around the world. In 2014 he started playing with the project Hit Italy Band, an Italian pop dance party band, doing several concerts in Eastern Europe, The Baltics and Russia also performing as a residence band in different festivals playing with Paul Young, Lou Bega, Gazebo, Johnny Logan, and others. In 2015 he was invited by Steinway & Sons to play a piano recital solo in Milan at the Piano City Festival. He is also the musical director of several shows, such as “We are the World – a Michael Jackson tribute” which involves a pop band, choir, dancers and symphonic orchestra. He started arranging since 2001 for chamber orchestra, choir (he has been a choir director for more than 15 years) and lately for Big Band, rock-pop Band and Symphonic orchestra after the studies with C.Fernandez (Disney-Dreamworks composer). In 2018 he started working as main arranger and composer for the “Teatro delle Voci Studios” in Italy. In 2019 he composed the soundtrack for the animated movie “Fio e Fia a Venezia in cerca di magia” premiered at 76ma Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia. He is also endorser of Hammond Organ keyboards since 2015 with which he produced some demo videos commissioned by Hammond Europe. VF runs his own studio recording - the OctopusValeMusic Studio Production - near Venice since 2016 and he also obtained the Mix/Mastering certifications through the software house Steinberg and the Sound Design certification with MasAcademy.
